Alice In Wonderland Book Cover Design

The premise of the design was to recreate the cover of Alice in Wonderland. It was also an introduction to Adobe Indesign and how to add text as well as images.

The general idea behind the design was to re-create the Alice in Wonderland book cover. I wanted to create the book cover with the idea of making seem as if the book was used and dingy. 

 

The orange tint that was chosen as the background color was due to wanting an aging effect to the book. Making it look as if it truly was an old book. The font is Old English which helps play along as well with the old time feel that was chosen for the background color of the book. Overall, I think that the colors were chosen and font chosen represents a book that has been used which generally means it's something that is popular.
